William Stickman

Mr. Stickman’s career spans 35 years in the Corrections field, with over 25 years in management. Mr. Stickman has experience in all facets of the Corrections field. He spent 29 years in the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, moving from Corrections Officer to the position of Deputy Secretary when he retired in 2007. He has served as interim warden at the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh PA to assist a troubled facility. He was asked to be the Director of the Shuman Juvenile Detention Center in Allegheny County when the Center lost its license. He assisted the staff there in regaining a full license and preparing for audits mandated by the Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003. Stickman was also a member of MGT of America and performed audits of prisons and jails holding detainees for DHS’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
